Capacity, equipment, structure, cable routes, protection, labour, transport, taxes and site-specific work determine the quote. Request gross cost, exclusions and payment stages in writing; confirm subsidy separately.
Will rooftop solar run during a power cut?
A conventional on-grid inverter shuts down when the grid fails. Backup needs compatible equipment, storage, transfer/protection arrangements and circuits designed for that purpose.
Who owns the commercial solar system?
The stated commercial offer is customer-owned CAPEX. The customer purchases the scoped system; equipment, engineering responsibilities and payment stages are agreed in the proposal.
What does five-year support cover?
Five years of free labour and technician visits. Parts, replacements and manufacturer warranties are separate; confirm the applicable scope and exclusions in your quotation.
Is paid AMC the same as installation support?
No. Paid AMC needs its own inspection schedule, eligibility, scope, exclusions, charges and visit terms. Equipment warranty and the five-year labour/technician-visit commitment have separate responsibilities.
