What determines the installed solar price?
Capacity, equipment, structure, cable routes, protection, labour, transport, taxes and site-specific work determine the quote. Request gross cost, exclusions and payment stages in writing; confirm subsidy separately.
Will rooftop solar run during a power cut?
A conventional on-grid inverter shuts down when the grid fails. Backup needs compatible equipment, storage, transfer/protection arrangements and circuits designed for that purpose.
Can I choose 3, 5 or 10 kW from my bill alone?
Seasonal energy use, usable roof, shade, connection limits, daytime consumption and applicable export rules still need review. A capacity label does not define the installed package.
What does five-year support cover?
